View database details for my Linux Hosting account
Updated Apr 7th, 2021 at 14:12 BST
Here's how to use cPanel to view database details, like users and database size, in your Linux Hosting account.
Go to your TsoHost Client Area: https://my.tsohost.com/clientarea.php Go to Services. Click on My Services. Select the cPanel service in question. Click on the Login to cPanel button. Click on the cPanel Admin button.
Once you are logged in cPanel, in the Databases section, click MySQL Databases. The MySQL Databases page shows your current databases and details for each one.
Note: For more, see the cPanel documentation for MySQL databases from here: https://docs.cpanel.net/cpanel/databases/mysql-databases
Related steps:
Applications on your website connect to the database using localhost as the hostname. Remote connections from your computer use your hosting account IP address, which can be found once you are logged within cPanel from the right-hand side under Shared IP Address.
Note: You would need to allow your local IP address so that you can establish the connection, which you can do from your cPanel - Remote MySQL® option.
More info: If you can't log in to your database, try resetting one of the database user passwords.
