Set a custom 404 page in my cPanel Hosting account
Updated Apr 6th, 2021 at 15:53 BST
404 pages display when someone tries to access a page on your website that doesn't exist. You can use your home page as your 404 page, or you can create a custom one as explained here.
Note: Server-side scripts, such as PHP, might not work on custom 404 pages because of how web server software (such as Apache) handles them.
Go to your TsoHost Client Area: https://my.tsohost.com/clientarea.php Go to Services. Click on My Services. Select the cPanel service in question. Click on the Login to cPanel button. Click on the cPanel Admin button.
Once you are in cPanel, in the Advanced section, click Error Pages.
In Error Pages, under Step 1 - Select Domain to Manage Error Pages, select the domain you want to use.
Below Step 2 - Edit Error Pages for: [your domain name], click 404 (Not found).
Edit the custom HTML for the page, and then click Save.
