How can I analyse my bandwidth in cPanel?
Updated Apr 30th, 2021 at 15:51 BST
There are a few handy tools that can be used to review your bandwidth usage from within your cPanel account.
The first tool is called 'Bandwidth' and it is located under the 'Metrics' section of your cPanel. This tool will allow you to check your bandwidth for different periods of time and the type of requests that generated this bandwidth.
You can also use the 'Awstats' tool that produces visual statistics about the visitors to your website.
From this tool, you can gather detailed information about your traffic such as the number of unique visitors that you had, the number of pages that were hit, the IP addresses that made the most hits to your website and much more.
Simply click 'View' on the right of the website's traffic you want to inspect and take note that there are two types of traffic, one that goes through a secured connection (SSL) and one that does not. Most of your traffic is expected to go through a secured connection.
