What is FTP?
Updated Oct 31st, 2017 at 12:01 GMT
FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a method of uploading and downloading files from a server. You can use FTP to access your files which are hosted on our Tsohost Cloud Hosting.
You can either connect to your files through an online file manager, which we provide through the Cloud control panel (Domain -> Common Features - > File Manager), or you can use a standalone FTP client on your desktop.
If you do choose to use FTP, then we recommend using FileZilla, which runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers. You can download it at http://filezilla-project.org/ (choose FileZilla Client). Alternatively, you can also use a full desktop publishing program such as Dreamweaver or iWeb.
