How do I create a subdomain in cPanel?

  1. Log in to your cPanel account and click the Subdomains icon, which can be found under Domains
  2. Follow the steps on page to name your new subdomain. If you have add-on or parked domains then you will be able to create a subdomain for them by selecting the domain from the drop-down box.
  3. Finally, set a subdomain file location under the Document Root dropdown. As standard, cPanel will set the subdomain's file location to be public_html/subdomain
